Rules for Northern Flights Disc Golf Bag Tag - 2025 Season
Cost:
- Tags are $10 each.
- Payment can be made via e-transfer to etransfer@northernflightsdiscgolf.ca or by cash.
Issuance:
- Tags are issued in the order payments are received (first come, first served).
End of Season Prize Pool:
- $5 from each tag will be placed into a prize pool.
- The prize pool will be divided among the holders of Tag #1, #2, and #3 at the end of the season.
How to Compete for Tags:
- Owning a bag tag is required to play for another player’s tag.
- Tag challenges are valid during league rounds, tournaments, and casual/fun rounds.
- When two or more tag holders play together, tag challenges are automatically in effect unless all players agree otherwise before the round starts.
Ties

If two players have the same score, the player who started with the lower bag tag will retain the lower tag number.
Minimum Play Requirement for Top Tags:
- Players holding Tag #1, #2, or #3 must play at least one round every three (3) weeks to retain their tag.
- Failure to meet this requirement without a valid reason may result in the tag being surrendered and reissued.
- Players with Top 3 tags should accept reasonable challenges from other players.
Tag Replacement Policy:
- If a tag is lost or broken, it can be replaced for a $10 fee.
- If broken, please send a photo of the damaged tag showing the number for verification.
- If the tag is lost and the number cannot be verified, a replacement tag with a higher unassigned number will be issued.
Special Number Requests:
- Custom numbered/souvenir tags may also be purchased for $10 as long as number is not already assigned.
